How to Record Your NDIS Providers: A Quick Guide

With the recent introduction of the NDIA's PACE system, understanding how to endorse or record your NDIS providers is essential. Recording your providers as 'my providers' can help your providers be paid more smoothly and gives them access to the necessary parts of your plan.

How to Record Your NDIS Providers: A Quick Guide

With the introduction of the NDIA's PACE system, you may have heard about "endorsing" or "recording" providers. Here is what that means and how to do it.

What does endorsing a provider mean?

In PACE, endorsing a provider means an NDIS participant (or their nominee) records the providers they regularly work with as part of their plan. Once endorsed, these providers, known as "my providers", are paid more quickly and can access the relevant parts of your plan with your consent.

Do you need to record "my providers"?

If your plan is on the PACE system and you access supports such as behaviour support, you will need to record Ivy Psychology under "my providers". If you self-manage your supports, recording providers is optional.

Recording Ivy Psychology as "my providers"

1. List your providers

Have ready the providers you want to record, including their NDIS provider numbers. Ivy Psychology's details are:

Official business name
Ivy Psychology Pty Ltd
ABN
95 667 402 128
NDIS provider number
4050138847

2. Tell the NDIS

Contact your my NDIS contact (for example, your Local Area Coordinator) or call the NDIS national contact centre on 1800 800 110 to share your choices.

What to say when endorsing Ivy Psychology

You can use something like this: "Hello, I am calling to endorse a provider on my current plan. I am a [participant or plan nominee] and my NDIS number is [your NDIS number]. I believe my plan is on the PACE system, and I would like to endorse Ivy Psychology as my [psychology or behaviour support] provider. Ivy Psychology's registration number is 4050138847. Please endorse Ivy Psychology from [plan start date], which is the start date of my current plan. Can you please confirm when the endorsement is complete and which categories it covers?"

If you receive behaviour support, make sure you specifically endorse Ivy Psychology as your behaviour support provider.

Changes to service bookings

In PACE, recording a provider replaces the old service booking step, which simplifies managing your supports. Service bookings were how the NDIS used to do this, and the plan is to move all participants across to PACE over time.

Need help?

PACE is a new system that is still evolving, and there are NDIS fact sheets on recording your providers (including an Easy Read version) on the NDIS website. If you would like a hand, we are happy to help you navigate the changes and get the support you need.
