Other ways in

Not sure, or in a hurry?

Two quicker pathways for when you don't want to fill out a full form.

What happens after you submit

Three steps.

1

We respond within one business day

By email or phone, depending on what you've told us is best. We don't run automated funnels - a real person reads every referral.

2

A short conversation

Usually a 15-minute call to confirm what you're looking for, talk through funding, and figure out which clinician would be the right fit.

3

We book your first session

Once we've confirmed the match and timing, we'll send you the booking details, any intake paperwork, and clear information about what to expect.

Not sure which form to pick?
That's fine - pick whichever feels closest, or use the quick form. You can also call us on 0405 944 637 or email admin@ivypsychology.com.au and we'll sort it out.
FAQs

Common questions

How do I refer myself or someone in my family?

Use the Start a referral form on our website. The same form handles self-referrals, family referrals, GP and paediatrician referrals, and support coordinator referrals; you'll choose which applies to you in the first question. We'll be in touch within one business day.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No, not unless you want to access Medicare rebates. You can refer yourself or your family member to Ivy directly. If you want to claim Medicare rebates on therapy sessions, you'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

Can my GP send a referral directly?

Yes. Your GP can send the Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral to admin@ivypsychology.com.au.

Do I need a support coordinator to refer my family member?

No. You can refer your family member directly, or refer yourself if you're the participant. Most of our NDIS referrals come directly from families.
