Miriam is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Master's degree in Psychology and over nine years of experience supporting children, young people, and families across the UK, Canada and Australia.
She takes a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, focusing on building strong, trusting relationships and understanding each individual's unique strengths and needs. Miriam is passionate about supporting emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills to enhance overall quality of life.
Her background includes roles as an Assistant Psychologist and Senior Behaviour Interventionist, where she delivered evidence-based behavioural interventions and cognitive assessments, and implemented individualised support strategies.
Miriam brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals to build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
Miriam is currently accepting new behaviour support referrals in the Eastern Suburbs/City and via telehealth.
